You and your crew will be the first ones out to sea when cruising with twin 1650hp Caterpillar engines. Titan Custom Yachts are designed for the most enjoyable sport fishing experience. State of the art marine electronics, Release marine fighting chairs, and 41' Rupp tournament outriggers are just a few of the reasons why Titan is a step above the rest.

The construction of the Titan 62 is cold molded. Layers of Okume plywood and fiberglass with West System epoxy are molded over custom CNC cut jigs. This process allows for a strong, light weight boat that feels, and sounds solid as she negotiates any conditions.

The Titan 62 was arranged and designed in coordination with Darron Roop of SHOREBREAK, LLC. She was designed to accommodate the high speeds brought about by two Caterpillar C32 1650 hp engines. Her chine geometry follows this purpose, along with lifting strakes to increase stability and comfort at speeds over 40 knots. An aggressive dead rise at midship (impact region) segues to 11.5 degrees at the transom to achieve the appropriate running trim angle. The transverse shape forward is designed to minimize spray and help "punch" into a nasty head sea while maintaining control and speed. Dead rise forward also aids in the boat's handling of head seas, while the chine tapers aft to provide good performance in following seas.

To minimize hull drag, several things were considered. A sea chest with an inlet flush to the hull bottom was used instead of a protruding strainer. Also, a shaft tube replaced the use of an intermediate strut. Where possible, items such as transducers, shaft strut palms, and rudder ports were all recessed into the hull.

The running gear consists of all nickel plated rudder bearings and steering arms. The shafts are 14' 6" long and 3" in diameter. The props are 33/48 5-blade nibral. The struts are a custom mold from Southeastern Foundries. After all running gear, the draft will be approximately 4'9".

Overall, the Titan 62 was designed to move fast through an uncompromising sea, with a ride quality paramount to all other sport fishing yachts. In addition to power, an elegant dockside appearance was achieved. This yacht is a true work of art.
